Lisbon International Airport

Lisbon International Airport is located only 7 kms from the city centre and from the majority of the conference hotels and congress centres.


By Train

Scores of national and international trains arrive in Lisboa everyday. In addition to  Santa Apolónia  terminal Station , the city has the Gare do Oriente, which opened in 1998 adjacent to the Nations Park. Both stations have direct bus and underground connections to the city centre.
Railway also provides a service covering practically the whole country.  Estoril Coast as well as Sintra are served by trains every 15 minutes.


By Road

Arriving in Lisboa by road is a pleasant experience, as the visitor can enjoy the beautiful countryside along the way.
The good access and the two bridges – 25 de Abril and Vasco da Gama – make the city an easy place to get to.


Car Rental  

At Lisboa Airport all the well known rent-a-car companies such as Avis, Hertz, Budget, among others, are represented.

Public Transportation  

When inside the city, the major transportation companies – Carris and Metro – cover the entire city with regular buses and subway stations.
Besides these regular companies we also have more than 3,500 taxis available.
